Road Tour Minutes
Town of Bayview

May 10, 2021

Meeting convened at 7:30 a.m. Present were Board Chairman Don Jenicek, Board Supervisors Mike Garnich and Bill Bodin, and Town Road Superintendent Mike Yonan.

Roads Toured:

Gary, Houghton Falls, Frostman, Bodin, Kjarvik, Smith Fire Lane, Whiting, Towering Pines, Friendly Valley, Big Rock & Maki.

Maintenance in the form of Gravel or Grading needed on Gary Road, Frostman, Kjarvik, Smith Fire Lane, Friendly Valley. Also discussed work to be done this year on Peacy Road East and West of Washington Avenue. New gravel on Whiting Road will need to be graded smooth, as loads are currently being dumped by Robert Olson.

Cold Patch fill needed on Bodin Road.

Discussed having overlay completed on Big Rock Road North of the ravine to Friendly Valley Road and spots repaired on the South side of the ravine.

Culvert to be replaced on Friendly Valley Road between Ray’s and Bratley’s.

Northwoods Paving will be in the area to complete Maki Road second 1.5” overlay as soon as week of May 17^th. Will inquire if overlay of Big Rock North can be completed then of if it will have to wait until later.
