Town of Bayview
November 9^th, 2021

Meeting was called to order by Chair Don Jenicek at 6:02 p.m.

Roll call:  Supervisor Bill Bodin, present; Chair Don Jenicek, present; Clerk Wanda Hyde, present; Treasurer Kelly Warren, present. Mike Garnich will not be able to attend. Others present were Mike Yonan and Mel & Brad Olson.

Minutes of 10/12/21. Motion was made by Bill Bodin seconded by Don Jenicek to approve as presented. Motion carried.

Treasurer report by Kelly Warren. Checking $38,808.30; Equipment $5,399.64; Room tax $4,639.78; Contingency Fund $20,002.35; Tax levy Savings $129,604.59 and Equipment Purchase Savings $125,820.00.

Citizen’s concerns and comments – No comments at this time.

HFNP update. Wanda Hyde reported that she had a request for copy of CELCP Scope of Work, Bayfield Regional Conservancy Houghton Falls and emailed by return mail. There were no new updates.

Discussion and possible action mold spore issue in basement. Wanda Hyde reported that she had called Service Master right after the last meeting, no response, so called again, met with Steve Waby from Service Master on Monday. He stated he would not do an estimate unless we had an air quality test done first. Motion by Bill Bodin seconded by Don Jenicek to move forward with PuroClean and task Mike Yonan to get information on gutters and down spouts. Motion carried.

Ordinance 16-05 (New will be 22-01). Tabled and Don Jenicek will update the ordinance.

Personnel Policy reviewed. Wanda Hyde made the changes from comp time to overtime. Motion was made by Bill Bodin seconded by Don Jenicek to approve personnel policy and sign. Motion carried.

Class A Permit of Eve & David Baer to install a concrete slab and 29’ x 14’ pine log cabin.  Motion was made by Don Jenicek seconded by Bill Bodin to approve permit and sign. Motion carried.

Class A Special Use permit by James E. Lean to install a driveway. Motion was made by Don Jenicek seconded by Bill Bodin to approve and sign permit. Motion carried.

Roads report by Mike Yonan. Spreading gravel, brushing and grading roads. Sold 1998 NH Tractor for $1,100.00. An offer of $1,000.00 has been made for Wobble wheel roller that is in the weeds. Board told Mike Yonan to go ahead and sell the wobble wheel roller.

Discussion and possible action redistricting plan. Tabled as we have not received anything from the County.

Discussion of 2022 Budget took place.

Bills in the amount of $38,600.75. Motion was made by Don Jenicek seconded by Bill Bodin to approve permit and sign as presented. Motion carried.

Correspondence – no action was necessary.
