Special Meeting of the Town of Bayview Electors
August 14th, 2012 – 5:00 P.M.
Chairman Al House called the meeting of the electors to order and explained that this meeting was called per Wisconsin State Statutes Section 60.12(1) (c). The purpose of this meeting was to request borrowing up to $230,000 to pave 1 ¼ miles of Friendly Valley Road and Houghton Falls Road.
Roll call: Larry Nelson Supervisor present; Charly Ray Supervisor present; Al House Chairman present; Wanda Hyde clerk present and Carol DeMars present. Others present: Darlene Mick, Robert Mick, David Hyde, Mark Smith, Bob Wamhoff, Maridelle Wamhoff, Linda Bodin, Deborah O’Leary, James Radtke, Paul Norris, Mike Yonan, Daniel Koval, Therese House, Jay Pringle, Emmer Shields, Cary Bouchard, Ken Johnson, Ken Cadotte, Carol DeMars, Joe Johanik, Sue Jenicek, R. L Granger, Marylou Belanger, Tammy DeMars, Charlie Pax, Tom Murphy, Mike Kaseno, Wendy Murphy, L Woody Peterson, Susan Kelly, Susan Simonson, Bill Wild, Marcy Lokken, Dennis Baljo, Deb Gierczic, Gary VanDyke, Mary Johnson, Paul Johnson, Zach Swanson, Greg Rozier, Cindy Dillenschneider and Larry Nelson.
Discussion of pros and cons of paving these two sections of road and borrowing the funds followed. Other roads brought up were Maki Road, Burlager/Washington Ave.
An Ad Hoc Road Committee to come up with a five year plan was discussed. (This will be on Septembers Town Meeting Agenda).
Motion was made by Woody Peterson seconded by James Radtke to borrow up to $230,000 to pave a section of Friendly Valley Road and Houghton Falls Road.
A hand vote was taken: (13) thirteen yes and (24) twenty four no. Motion was defeated.
Motion to adjourn was made by James Radtke seconded by Joe Johanik.
