Town of Bayview Road Tour Minutes 5/8/2019

Present: Don Jenicek, Charly Ray, Bill Bodin, Mike Yonan

Maki Rd – discussed narrowing with contractor. Bid coming from C&W. This is in preparation for future paving of the rest of Maki.

Big Rock Rd. – discussed ravine pavement fails on north side. Mike will get an estimate. Agreed it is a priority.

Niemisto/Friendly Valley intersection getting new culvert.

Friendly Valley needs re-ditching above the Pringle residence. Town will work on priority areas this year. Get an estimate for contractor work.

Crack sealing all the paved roads in Town is scheduled for this year.

Kjarvik is in good shape.

Smith Fire lane will continue to be worked on with funding from the County Forestry Department.

McCulloch needs spot gravel this year. A new culvert is going in this year.

Whiting Rd rebuild project reviewed. Ditch by Dave Olson property needs rebuilding and the ditch to Mark Hart’s driveway as well. 1200 yds of gravel will be laid as part of the TRIP project. A new culvert and ditch work is planned for the spring area just past the Mike and Jo Bailey’s driveway.

Bayview Park Rd. looks good with recent gravel. Water levels are very high on the Lake.

Reviewed the siting for the Depot. Consensus that small trees could be cleared and large pine kept in the area just south of the Paymaster Building with final orientation to be determined. Agreed we should maintain the parking lot lines as is.

Bodin Rd. – agreed to put on black top overlay list for next few years.

Singer Rd. ditch work needed.

Burlager Rd. – discussed chip sealing in near future as test road. Mike to set counter up on Burlager.

Johnson-Leino Rd. is getting a new culvert at Komborski intersection.
