Public Budget Hearing

December 13th, 2022

Public Hearing of the town budget was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Chair Don Jenicek. Budget forms were made available.

Review of the budget took place.

Motion was made by Mike Yonan seconded by Cary Bouchard to adjourn.

Special Town Meeting of the Electors of the Town of Bayview, Bayfield County, was called in pursuant to Sec.60.12 (1) (c) of the Wis. Statutes by the town board for the following purposes.

• To approve elected officials’ salaries per Section 10.10 (1) (b) (1) per Wis. Stats.
• To Approve the 2022 town levy to be collected 2023 pursuant to Sect6ion 60.10 (1)(a) of Wis. Stats.

Meeting was called to order at 7:04 p.m. by Chair Don Jenicek.

Motion was made by Mike Yonan seconded by John Carlson to have town clerk make a resolution to exceed levy limits by $8,400.00 for Board Salaries. Motion carried.

Motion was made by John Carlson seconded by Mike Yonan to approve 2022 town levy in the amount of $233,524.00 to be collected in 2023 pursuant to Section 60.10(1)(a) of Wisconsin statutes.  Motion carried.

Motion to adjourn was made by John Carlson seconded by Mike Yonan.

Town of Bayview Special Town Board Meeting to adopt the 2023 Budget. December 13th, 2022

Meeting was called to order by Chair Don Jenicek.

Motion was made by Don Jenicek seconded by Bill Bodin  to approve the amended 2023 budget to include levy increase of $8,400.00 that was made in the Special Town Meeting.
