Monthly Board Meeting
March 12th, 2013
Meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. by Chairman Al House.
Roll Call: Supervisor Larry Nelson, absent; Chairman Al House, present; Supervisor Charly Ray, present, Treasurer Carol DeMars, absent and Clerk Wanda Hyde, present. Others present were: David Hyde and Mike Yonan.
Approval of Minutes of 1/8/2013. Motion was made by Al House seconded by Charly Ray to approve minutes as presented. Motion carried.
Approval of Minutes of 2/12/2013. Motion was made by Al House seconded by Charly Ray to approve with the minutes with the reverse to Annual Town Meeting removed. Motion carried.
Treasurer Report was given by Clerk Wanda Hyde. Checking $16,368.65; Tax Account $27,488.68; Equipment Fund $4,322.66 and Room Tax $4,248.39.
Payment of bills in the amount of $573,986.61. Motion was made by Al House seconded by Charly Ray to approve payment of bills as presented. Motion carried.
Citizens Concerns and Comments –
Communication System – put on April agenda.
Road Report – Road Superintendant Mike Yonan that they have been plowing, and cutting, trimming trees along Bodin Road.
Weekly Town Road Review will take place on Mondays at 6:00 a.m. until further notice.
No Ad Hoc Report –put on April agenda.
Ordinance regarding permanent weight limits for Big Rock Road was reviewed and Clerk will have printed for April agenda.
Old Business –
Discussion regarding breakdown of time cards. No action taken.
New Business –
Bayfield County Forestry Road Aid discussed. Motion was made by Al House seconded by Charly Ray to have Mike Yonan make up a request for funding on behalf of Town Board. Motion carried.
Scenic ByWays Committee – Motion was made by Al House seconded by Charly Ray to appoint Larry Nelson and Beta Bodin to this Committee to represent Town of Bayview. Motion carried.
Next meeting is set for 5:45 to go into closed session for personnel matters and regular meeting is set for 6:00 p.m.
Motion to adjourn was made by Al House seconded by Charly Ray.
