Town of Bayview
January 9^th, 2018

Meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. by Chairman Charly Ray.

Roll call:  Supervisor Larry Nelson, present; Supervisor Don Jenicek, present; Chairman Charly Ray, present; Clerk Wanda Hyde, present and Treasurer Kelly Warren, present.  Others present:  David Hyde, Mike Yonan and Bill Bodin.

Motion to approve minutes of 12/12/2017 and 11/28/2017 was made by Larry Nelson seconded by Don Jenicek.  Motion carried.

Treasurer report was given by Kelly Warren.  Checking $37,882.55; Equipment $4,829.14; Room Tax $90.52 and Tax levy $453,985.15.

Citizen’s concerns and comments – None

Road Report by Mike Yonan.  Scraped all roads yesterday.  On the route to Yurt blew a blade on dump truck.  Couldn’t find it but it should show up when snow melts.

5 – Year road plan – No changes

Motion to approve payment of the bills in the amount of $19,467.39 was made by Don Jenicek seconded by Larry Nelson.  Motion carried.

Correspondence –

An Archaeological/cultural resource survey at HFNP has been proposed by anthropology Professors John Creese and Heather Walder. WI DNR Mark Dudzik approved having this study done.  Charly Ray will contact BRC before next meeting to see what their thoughts are on this study.

Motion was made by Don Jenicek seconded by Larry Nelson to approve 2018 State Equipment Rates.

Motion carried.

Holiday policy for part time employee was discussed.  No action taken.

2018 Newsletter was reviewed and changes made.

Next meeting will be February 13^th, 2018 at 6:00 p.m.

Motion to adjourn was made by Larry Nelson seconded by Charly Ray at 6:54 p.m.
