Town of Bayview
January 12^th, 2016

Meeting was called to order at 6:02 by Chairman Charly Ray.

Roll call:  Supervisor Larry Nelson, absent (family health issue); Supervisor Donald Jenicek, present; Chairman Charly Ray, present; Clerk Wanda Hyde, present and Kelly Warren absent (attending class).

Others present:  Mike Yonan; Jen Croonberg-Murphy, Wendy Murphy, Bob Bodin, Cary Bouchard, Jo and Mike Bailey, Joe Johanik, Mark Eggleson, Bob Cuty and Erika Lang, BRC.

Minutes of 12/8/2015.  Motion was made by Donald Jenicek seconded by Charly Ray to approve with changes noted.  Motion carried.

Treasurer Report was given by the Clerk.  Checking $352,249.42; Equipment $7,958.24; Room tax $4,560.32 and Tax Levy $40,251.22.

Citizens’ Concerns & Comments:

Citations for disobeying the rules at HFNP discussed.  Charly Ray will check with Wis. Towns Association.

Road Report:

Foreman Mike Yonan reported the crew had been plowing and sanding and working on grader and truck blades.

Old Business:

Repeater was discussed and will be an agenda item in February.

Correspondence from BRC was reviewed and Charly Ray had formulated a response.  After review it was agreed response would be mailed to BRC.

Gate at HFNP had been frozen, working again at this time.  Temporary signs were put in place regarding time of gate closure and winter parking hours.

Jen Croonberg- Murphy explained the process of permit being worked on for HFNP.

2016 Equipment Rates were reviewed.  The Town of Bayview uses the state rates.  Motion by Charly Ray seconded by Donald Jenicek to approve 2016 equipment rates as submitted.  Motion carried.

Bill for December in the amount of $13,267.87.  Motion was made by Donald Jenicek seconded by Charly Ray to approve December bills as presented.  Motion carried.

January bills in the amount of $301,798.97.  Motion was made by Donald Jenicek seconded by Charly Ray to approve as presented.  Motion carried.

Class at Lakewood’s on February 19^th.  Board of Review training would take place at this session.

Clerk will email the past year’s newsletter to board for input for 2016.  Would like to have ready for approval at February meeting.

Loader Backhoe prices were reviewed.  This will be a February agenda item.

Next meeting is set for Tuesday, February 9^th, 2016 at 6:00 p.m.
