Monthly Board Meeting
January 10, 2012
Meeting was called to order by Al House, Chairman at 6:00 p.m.
Roll Call: Larry Nelson Supervisor, present; Charly Ray Supervisor, present; Al House, Chairman, present; Wanda Hyde Clerk, present; Carol DeMars Treasurer, present. Others present: Mike Yonan.
Motion to approve minutes of 12/13/11 was made by Charly Ray seconded by Larry Nelson. Motion carried.
Treasurer report was given by Carol DeMars: Checking $67,337.95; Regular Savings $143,768.13 (noted that she had rolled over the balance of last years tax account into regular savings); Tax Account $340,150.74; Equipment fund $4,321.07 and Room Tax $2,200.24.
Motion to approve and pay December bills in the amount of $9,411.04 was made by Larry Nelson seconded by Charly Ray. Motion carried.
Motion to approve and pay January bills in the amount of $24,795.14 was made by Charly Ray seconded by Larry Nelson. Motion carried.
Citizens Concerns: No one present.
Road Report: No snow. Discussed buying a blade saw.
Old Business:
Ordinance regarding right of way discussed. Al stated as citizen of the Town of Bayview has volunteered to write this ordinance. Al will check with him before next meeting.
Camera’s was tabled, Larry Nelson will do research.
New Business:
Motion was made by Charly Ray and seconded by Larry Nelson to approve the State Equipment Rates for 2012 as presented. Motion carried.
Lawn Mower was discussed. Mike Yonan presented some figures on used mowers. This item was tabled until February.
Next meeting was set for February 14th, 2012 at 6:00 p.m.
Motion to adjourn was made by Charly Ray seconded by Larry Nelson.
