Monthly Board Meeting
April 9th, 2013
Meeting was called to order at 6:02 p.m. by Chairman Charly Ray.
Roll Call: Superior Greg Rozier, here; Supervisor Larry Nelson, here, Chairman Charly Ray, here; Clerk Wanda Hyde, here and Treasurer Carol DeMars absent. Others present: Mike Yonan, Paul Norris, Deb Gierczic, Sue Jenicek and Paul Johnson.
Approval of Minutes of 3/12/2013. Motion was made by Larry Nelson seconded by Greg Rozier to approve minutes as presented. Motion carried.
Treasurer Report was given by Clerk Wanda Hyde. Checking $43,176.69, Tax account $27,490.86, Equipment Fund $4,322.98 and Room Tax account $4,248.70.
Payment of bills in the amount of $13,025.45. Motion was made by Greg Rozier seconded by Larry Nelson to approve payment of bills as presented. Motion carried.
Citizens Concerns and Comments-
Communication System is tabled until May agenda.
Parks Committee report was given by Sue Jenicek. Posting of the Bayview Park Ordinance was made by Parks Committee. Sue stated that there are three openings on the Bayview Park Board. Motion was made by Larry Nelson seconded by Greg Rozier to approve Paul Johnson for a three year term. Motion carried. Parks Committee is still looking to fill two more positions.
Fire in fire ring only and pack in pack out should be posted as well.
HFNP – A neighbor noticed a vehicle at the parking area after hours and was concerned when arriving home they could hear voices. This park is posted that is open between the hours of sunup and sunset. Suggestion was made that neighbors noticing after hours use of parks to contact the sheriff’s department. Charly Ray volunteered to email Cary Bouchard regarding this issue.
Road Report
Paul Norris reviewed the draft Town of Bayview Road Evaluation.
Ordinance 13-1 Establishing special weight limits on Big Rock Road was reviewed.
Motion to approve and sign Ordinance 13-1 was made by Larry Nelson seconded by Greg Rozier. Motion carried.
BC Forestry Road aid will be awarded in the amount of $5,142.16. This would be used on Butterfield Road or Whiting Road.
Mike Yonan Road Supervisor reported that they have steamed culverts and drug roads.
Discussion of Stinger blades took place and Mike purchase. Mike also reported that oil pump on International is two small with the added equipment, new one would cost $1961.00.
Old Business –
Historical Model display by Paul Johnson will be kept at the town hall and used for centennial and Paul will keep after that.
Correspondence – No action necessary.
Road Tour Date is set for May 8th, 2013 at 8 a.m.
Board of Review is set for May 21st, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. with Open Book preceding this meeting from 4- 6 p.m.
Next regular meeting is scheduled for May 14th, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. (Note time change)
