Public Budget Hearing

The Public Hearing of the Town Budget was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Chair Don Jenicek.  Kim Suske, Clerk, present.  Others in Attendance:  Sue Jenicek, Jay Pringle, Darlene Charboneau, Rick Charboneau, Bob Bodin, Kelly Warren, Mike Hepp, Butch Warren, and Bill Bodin.

Budget forms were made available.  Review of the 2026 budget took place.  There was ample opportunity for people to make comments and ask questions.

Motion was made at 7:46 p.m. by Sue Jenicek to adjourn; seconded by Bill Bodin.  Motion carried.

Special Town Meeting of the Electors

Special Town Meeting of the Electors was called to order at 7:47 p.m. by Chair Don Jenicek.  Kim Suske, Clerk, present.  Others in Attendance:  Sue Jenicek, Jay Pringle, Darlene Charboneau, Rick Charboneau, Bob Bodin, Kelly Warren, Mike Hepp, Butch Warren, and Bill Bodin.

Discussion of the 2025 Town of Bayview tax levy (to be collected in 2026) took place.

Motion of the Town of Bayview, Bayfield County, for the purpose of adopting Resolution No. 25-03: Resolution by Town Electors to Endorse the Town Board’s Resolution to Exceed the Levy Limit—Sue Jenicek made a motion to adopt Resolution No. 25-03; seconded by Jay Pringle; vote held by raising hands—8 in favor; 2 opposed.  Motion carried.

Motion made by Bill Bodin to adopt the total Town tax levy for 2025 (to be collected in 2026) of $246,484, seconded by Kelly Warren.  All in favor; motion carried.

Motion was made at 7:54 p.m. by Bill Bodin to adjourn; seconded by Bob Bodin.  Motion carried.

Special Town Board Meeting to Adopt the 2026 Budget

The Special Town Board Meeting to Adopt the 2026 Budget was called to order by Chair Don Jenicek at 7:55 p.m.

Roll call:  Chair Don Jenicek, present; Supervisor Bill Bodin, present; Clerk Kim Suske, present; Treasurer Kelly Warren, present, Supervisor Mike Garnich, absent.  Others in Attendance:  Sue Jenicek, Bob Bodin, and Butch Warren.

Motion to adopt the 2026 Town of Bayview budget was made by Bill Bodin; seconded by Don Jenicek.  Motion carried.

Motion to adjourn was made by Bill Bodin; seconded by Don Jenicek.  Meeting adjourned at 7:56 p.m.
