Meeting was called to by Chairman Charly Ray.
Roll Call: Supervisor Larry Nelson, present; Supervisor Don Jenicek, present; Chairman Charly Ray, present; Clerk Wanda Hyde, present and Treasurer Kelly Warren, present. Other present: Mike Yonan, Bill Bodin, Paul Johnson and Butch Warren.
Minutes of January 8th, 2019. Charly Ray suggested two changes be made to the draft. Motion was made by Don Jenicek seconded by Larry Nelson to approve minutes with changes. Motion carried.
Treasurer report by Kelly Warren. Checking $80,691.95; Equipment fund $7,831.01; Room Tax $11,163.73 and Tax Levy account $111,768.02.
Citizens’ Concerns and Comments – None currently.
Road Repot – Mike Yonan reported they have been busy shelving banks. Dr. Kreuser was driving down the road where Jim Maki was shelving and Jim tried to stop him and he tried to go around the grader, bounced off snow bank into grader tire. No damage to grader.
5 Year Road Plan – No changes currently.
Resolution #19-01 Employee Grievance Procedure was reviewed. Motion was made by Charly Ray seconded by Larry Nelson to approve as presented. Motion carried.
Ordinance #19-03 Uniform Dwelling Code was reviewed and tabled for more information.
Short term rental paperwork reduction was brought up by Charly Ray. Wanda and Kelly both note how important the one sheet of paper was to them quarterly. No action was taken.
Payment of bills in the amount of $726,476.08. Motion to approve and pay as presented was made by Don Jenicek, seconded by Larry Nelson. Motion carried.
Correspondence –
Bayfield County Forestry is requesting proposals for funds to assist towns with improvements to Town Roads that provide access to the County Forest. Mike Yonan will take care of this.
April 17th USDA Engineering and Timber departments for town to meet with representatives from the engineering and timber programs. Meeting will be held at Northern Great Lakes Visitor Center, Room 29270.
Don Jenicek requested Wanda Hyde check with Rural Insurance on how Butch Warrens claim was doing. Charly Ray was going to check with John Carlson on legal issues.
